Golf Tournament

Our 9th Annual Golf Tournament was a huge success, and on behalf of Alabaster Jar Project, we'd like to thank each and every one of you for being apart of it!

August is National Wellness Month

August is National Wellness Month, and a reminder that taking care of our minds and bodies plays a huge role in how we heal and grow. For survivors, wellness is a deeply personal journey of rebuilding their lives and growing peacefully.

This month, we encourage you to pause, check in with yourself, and practice self-care. Nourish your bodies, find small ways to de-stress, and take time to create a peaceful environment in your daily lives.

Grace House Updates

This month, Grace House celebrated several meaningful milestones in residents' recovery journeys.

  1. One resident reached six months of sobriety
  2. One resident is preparing to transition out of Grace House into the next chapter of her recovery.
  3. We are welcoming a new resident into the program, continuing the cycle of support and new beginnings.
  4. Weekly support groups continue to welcome 8–13 participants, creating consistent opportunities for connection, accountability, and encouragement.
  5. We're now offering an AA/NA meeting at the Resource Center, expanding recovery support for both residents and community members.

Perhaps most importantly, staff continue to witness residents making daily choices to invest in their own healing and future. While those moments are often quiet and deeply personal, they are the foundation upon which lasting recovery is built.

Resource Center Updates

The need for housing support continues to grow, particularly among non-residential participants seeking stability while remaining connected to services.

  1. During the reporting period, the team completed eight new screenings, provided 47 case management services, and helped two participants secure employment.
  2. Six individuals successfully transitioned into housing, including permanent, transitional, and emergency shelters.

The Resource Center continues strengthening community partnerships through agency tours, networking meetings, and collaborative outreach. These efforts are helping build stronger referral pathways so survivors can access housing and supportive services more quickly and effectively.

As this work continues, two ongoing challenges remain especially significant: access to immigration services and affordable rental assistance. Strengthening partnerships in these areas remains a priority as we work to better meet the evolving needs of those we serve.
